Alouette Frenchies

We have always been big animal lovers, and for a while we were breeding Great Pyrenees as working Livestock Guardian Dogs for the farm. As our needs have changed we really did not need any more LGDs, so after Calypso’s last litter she was spayed and in her retirement from breeding she stays with her flock of sheep, where she is happiest. Voltaire is still occasionally used at stud and we have frozen semen. We got our first Frenchie, a brindle named Goblin, as a show prospect for the kids. We absolutely adore Goblin, and fell completely in love with the breed. From there we added Olivia, our pied brindle girl to the pack. The rest is history.

We are big proponents of ethical breeding, and as such, we only breed standard color French Bulldogs who have been health tested. All of the results are publicly displayed on the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) website. We do not support fad color breeding. We have carefully planned, infrequent litters raised in our home around other animals and children. We follow puppy culture protocols and are selective about the homes our puppies go to. Puppies leave with their first set of vaccinations, deworming, microchip, AKC limited registration, and spay/neuter puppy contract. We do not sell puppies for breeding.

We also enjoy participating in sports with our Frenchies, and have found success in scent work, FastCAT, CABT, Barn Hunt, conformation, and are training for dock diving and agility.
